We are very excited to be holding our first Women’s Breakfast upstairs in Wetherspoon’s, Fore Street, Bodmin on Saturday 13th January at 8:45am.

Join us for a relaxed, wholesome breakfast, followed by a short talk from our guest speaker, Sarah Jeffrey, Lead Chaplain to Devon and Cornwall Police.

Sarah initially became a police chaplain in 2011 with Surrey police, her only previous police experience watching Midsummer Murders and Lewis on tv!  However, God was involved and after a wonderful two years with Surrey, Sarah met her husband in Cornwall and then applied for a job with Devon & Cornwall police.  Again, God was involved and by chance an opening was available to which she applied and was blessed to get the job in 2013.

Sarah’s background is in counselling & mental health which has been a great asset with her current role.  She is a proud supporter of all our police men and women having seen the tremendous challenges and pressure they experience daily.  While D&C police have had a volunteer chaplaincy for over 20 years, there was no coordinator and after a bit of initial scepticism, the force has embraced having a full time chaplain.  Sarah now leads a team of 27 volunteer chaplains.

This wouldn’t be possible without the support of Jesus Christ, her understanding husband Paul and a slightly strange cat named Cleo!

Please email to book & select traditional or veggie breakfast. £5 donation recommended please.
