Welcome to Bodmin Light and Life Church!

Bodmin Light and Life is a new, family-friendly church which launched in March 2017. Our vision is to reach the people of Bodmin and the surrounding area with the love of Jesus, and to see lives transformed by Him.

Our desire is to be a church where people are able to explore faith, discover faith, grow in faith, and share that faith with others as they meet with the living God. To that end, we provide a range of easily accessible Sunday Services to cater for all ages, as well as house groups for those who wish to go deeper in their discipleship.

Our services are purposefully simple in format, so we hope anyone and everyone can feel at home with us. Read on for more details – we look forward to meeting you soon!

Who are we?

Bodmin Light and Life was planted out of East Cornwall Light and Life, which also has congregations in St Austell and Liskeard. East Cornwall is, in turn, part of the group of Light and Life Churches across Cornwall, which are part of the Free Methodist Church in the UK.

We range in age, background, and church experience, but love being “family” together. We are a group of people of all ages dedicated to following Jesus and living out our faith in our daily lives.

We currently run Sunday Services with children’s and youth groups, mid-week housegroups, and join with other churches in Bodmin for various initiatives. We are also advocates for Acts435.

Events

Every “4th Sunday” we change things around a bit and hold a special event. These are great opportunity to check us out, in a relaxed and fun environment, and learn more about who we are.

At Light and Life, we have found that Jesus Christ is indeed who He said He was! As our Saviour and Friend, He has transformed our lives, bringing us hope and a reason to live life to the full.

We would love to help you on your journey of faith, so please do contact us if we can help. We aim that all we do is easy-access, and non-pressurising, so we hope to be a safe-place to check out the big issues, and explore faith together.
